The road in from Louisville

New Circle Road
KY 4 is signed New Circle Road, with the eastern half of the loop carrying the East prefix, and it rings the built-up part of the county. Nearly all the freight ground sits a mile or two off it.
Man O War Boulevard

Nicholasville and Paris
US 27 runs the length of the county, signed Nicholasville Road heading south and Paris Pike heading north. KY 1973 wears that Paris Pike name as well.
Harrodsburg Road
Harrodsburg Road leaves the southwest corner as US 68. Tates Creek Road, KY 1974, and Athens Boonesboro Road, KY 418, take care of the southeast side.
