Truck Repair AcrossJefferson County, KY

Ten Jefferson County towns are on Superior's list, from Anchorage out east to Valley Station in the southwest. Bishop Lane itself is inside the county too, so no call here means sending a truck in from somewhere else.

Inner ring, outer ring

Two Rings And The Roads Across.

I-264 loops close in, and I-265, the Gene Snyder Freeway, loops much farther out. I-65 and Dixie Highway cut across both. Knowing which of these you're on tells dispatch roughly which part of the county to send a truck toward.

One Shop For Every Jefferson County Town

Superior Truck & Trailer repairs trucks and trailers all over Jefferson County from 3816 Bishop Lane, which is in the county itself. Okolona is the shortest drive on the list at about 4 miles, and Valley Station the longest at about 13, around 23 minutes without traffic.

The county's big sites spread out along the interstates. On the south side, inside I-265, you'll find GE Appliance Park plus the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant, while Progress Rail Services and Clariant sit near I-264 west of I-65, and TransMontaigne Louisville is farther west still.

Across all of it, the work splits the same way. Road calls and yard visits handle maintenance, brakes, air and electrical problems and DOT annuals where the unit stands, and engine, aftertreatment and alignment work comes into Bishop Lane.

Jefferson County fleets

Fleets Spread Over Ten Towns

A fleet with yards in more than one Jefferson County town can put every location on the same maintenance plan. Superior's mobile techs work through the list yard by yard, on dates you set.

Across every county yard

  • One maintenance calendar for all sites
  • Annual inspections tracked unit by unit
  • A single number when one breaks down

Mobile Techs Between Yards

Whether a yard sits near the Snyder, off Dixie Highway or close to downtown, the technician drives to it. Units stay where they're parked, and nobody shuttles tractors across the county for service.

DOT Annuals County-Wide

Jefferson County yards can take turns hosting the 49 CFR 396.17 federal annual inspection. Anything a unit fails on gets repaired right then, before the tech moves on to the next site.

Working trucks, real shop work

The work happens here, on the road and in the bay.

The trucks, trailers, service vehicles, roadside calls and shop work behind the services on this site. This is the kind of commercial equipment Superior works on every day in and around Louisville.
